I don't know if I've come far enough to bore you with personal details, but I've come to accept that I suck at laptop maintenance.

My first laptop was a school laptop that I got to keep after the school was done with it. It got to the point where the hinges were loose and you had to have the charger in a certain position to charge it.

My next was a sleek, rounded-corner thing. I took it to show my cousin that I got Minecraft, and as soon as he got to the rendevous point, he took off his jacket and threw it on the chair. Somehow, jacket hit my cup of coffee, which spilled onto my new laptop.

I've broken somewhere along 3 more. Mostly just bumps. But one October, when my laptop was busted from it hitting the back of the seat of my truck in the one side of the backpack that wasn't padded, I decided to try and fix it. The touchscreen was spiderwebbed, so it should be simple, right?

Wrong. I had to take apart my computer, remove the broken touch screen, attach the wires (painstaking work), and put it back together again with a touchscreen that my parents bought. That would be bad enough if we knew that you could get the touchscreen with the border attached. So my laptop's screen was a mess.

Later, I got another laptop to use alongside the repaired one, as the repaired one needs a constant power supply and sometimes doesn't play sound. I use the repaired one for a number of things (including ComicFury).

Last night, I was getting ready to turn in for the night after reading some POW! Right in the Nostalgia, so I started to close the laptop. But crummy placement of my thumb caused the touchscreen to shatter YET AGAIN. Oh, well. At least I turned touch controls off.

Sorry for the long, unrelated rant.
TL;DR: My laptop's broken AGAIN.
