So all that stuff about my comics becoming Furry? April Fool's.

You know what else April has? Autism Acceptance. I found out I was autistic (Specifically, Asperger's) few years ago, and most of my family has been supportive. And it wound up showing in some of my characters. So Toby Lectro also has Asperger's.

People on the spectrum have had a hand in creating some cool stuff! Ghostbusters was created because Dan Aykroyd had a fascination with ghosts, for example. Pokemon was created because Satoshi Tajiri loved bug collecting. Hannibal Lecter's actor, Anthony Hopkins, is on the spectrum. Philip J. Fry and Doug Funnie's voice actor Billy West, too.

I dig the Electric Autism symbol!

Evangelion's creator, Hideaki Anno,
is also on the spectrum.

Evangelion, is that one with the Drill that will Pierce the Heavens?

Either that, or it's the one with
Robot Lions that form Voltron! XD

(For real tho, Gurren Lagann is Hype AF!)

so, Toby is a clueless Lectro unit from some lab and has Asperger's. I honestly kind of suspected it! at least he got some friends to help him navigate the confusing world of humans. :)

I know it's technically just stylistic filler and all, but I really like the idea of Toby creating holograms or constructs out of electricity. that sounds useful. EDIT: wait, the cast page actually lists "creation" as one of his powers. yay!

also Neon Genesis Evangelion is that one depressing-but-memorable anime about evil angels from space. it's also very good if you don't mind body horror and disturbing situations.

Yup, Toby's a stranger in a strange land, but at least the locals are friendly.

"Creation" is basically just generation. Though Toby can create crude, monochromatic doodles of a sort, Toby's rainbow electricity isn't canon.

And I genuinely know next-to-nothing about Anime. So my confusion of franchises was genuine - but I guess I will have to check it out when I eventually start, especially if this came from it.

Oh Snap!
I thought you were joking, My Bad...
Yes The Eva theme is epic!

The one about the Heaven piecing Drills is Gurren Lagann, Which is legit one of my favorite things!

Voltron is a 70's Anime, with a modern remake on Netflix, alongside the 2 shows mentioned above.
